Building a networked VR extraction shooter

Anomaly drops players into a disaster-stricken city where rival scavengers and unearthly creatures compete for valuable gear. Each run is a race to survive, extract, and improve the next loadout.

At Greensky Games, I helped kickstart development across the multiplayer VR experience. I designed and implemented deterministic gameplay features with Photon Fusion, including client-side prediction and lag compensation work that reduced perceived latency and made networked interactions more responsive.

Architecture and team development

I maintained core systems and handled technical debt which made new features faster to implement. My work emphasized maintainable architecture, clean boundaries, and scalable patterns suitable for a live networked application.

Working within a team of ten developers, I also contributed through code reviews, knowledge sharing, technical problem-solving, and cross-team coordination toward our production milestones.
